Star restaurateur runs Vigårda in Arenastaden

The latest culinary trends and the most exciting tastes can now be found in Arenastaden. Some of Sweden’s best restaurateurs have opted to open restaurants here. One such restaurant is Vigårda, the hamburger chain run by top chefs Melker Andersson and Danyel Couet.
Vigårda’s concept is to offer delicious, high-quality hamburgers, quickly and with no fuss. The restaurant works closely with local farms to source fresh produce.
“We have something for everyone,” says Enes Aganovic, restaurateur at Vigårda in Arenastaden. “Teenagers, families and older people come here to eat. In the future we’ll be focusing more on happy hour offers, with reasonable prices in the bar and relaxing music on certain evenings.”
Since it opened in Arenastaden, Vigårda has attracted a lot of guests, both at weekends and during the day. The fact that large companies such as Telia have set up operations in the area obviously means a great deal. Mall of Scandinavia has a 4-star profile, which means that the restaurants, services and shops must be of high quality.
“This is a cool and very different way of thinking,” says Enes. “A lot of people visit the mall, and there are several high-quality restaurants around us. Things have gone really well so far and we’re happy with it all.”
For those who have signed up with the Mall of Scandinavia loyalty programme, several offers are available. At the moment, for example, you can get 20 percent off all food if you order it at the bar between 4 pm and 7 pm on Fridays.

In addition to Arenastaden, Vigårda will soon be opening four more restaurants in Stockholm, Malmö and Gothenburg. They are owned by Grupp F12, which is run by Melker Andersson and Danyel Couet.
